Keep everything in one place
Applications, scholarships, deadlines and next steps live on one plan. Add a school or a program once, and the checklist, the dates and the dollars follow.

From choosing a path to day one of what comes next. No more spreadsheets, emails and sticky notes, and no separate logins: you and your student see the same plan.

Different paths. Same tools.
Roughly 55% of high school completers do not enroll in a four-year college the fall after graduation. NCES, immediate college enrollment rate.
This is what planning life after high school can feel like, and why 4Thought101 was built.

Link to your student’s account with a code and see the same applications, deadlines, scholarships and next steps they see. You’ll also get copies of deadline reminders and can send a nudge when something needs attention.
You stay informed. They stay in control.
You already have enough to keep track of. Ralph helps you figure out what needs attention, find answers, and keep your plan moving.
Ask Ralph about your applications, scholarships, deadlines, schools, programs, and next steps.
Start planning freeNo credit card required. Ralph comes with the Solo and Family plans.
Ask Ralph what is due, what is still waiting, or what you should tackle next.
Compare colleges, programs, and careers without opening twelve tabs and another spreadsheet.
Update tasks, applications, and next steps simply by telling Ralph what changed.
Ralph works alongside the plan you are already building in 4Thought101, so you do not have to remember where everything lives.
You have three things coming up:
Want to start with the scholarship?

Parents can see the same plan and ask Ralph questions about what is coming up, without taking over the student’s work.
You stay informed. They stay in control.
Ralph helps you organize your plan, explore your options, and figure out what needs attention next.
For important admissions, financial aid, or program decisions, confirm final details directly with the school or organization.

Not to start. Signup asks for your name, email, and role, and that is it.
All the core tracking: deadlines, reminders, and the parent view, for up to 10 applications and 10 scholarships. Recruiting tracking and Ralph, the AI assistant, come with the paid plans.
The number of students. Solo ($59/year) covers one student; the Family Plan ($99/year) covers two to four in one household. Every covered student gets the same room: 50 applications, 50 scholarships, 20 recruiting schools, and Ralph.
Your subscription becomes the Family Plan automatically, prorated for the rest of your year on the same renewal date. Students three and four are included at no extra cost; the plan tops out at four students.
Solo. It covers you fully on your own: the whole tracking space, Ralph, and a linked parent view whenever you invite one from Settings. If a sibling joins later, your subscription becomes the Family Plan automatically, prorated, so you never start over.
Every covered student comes with 180 assistant sessions a year. On the Family Plan those pool together, any student can draw from it, and the account holder sees the balance in Settings. Sessions reset at renewal and do not carry over; conversations you already started always keep working.
Nothing you have entered is touched. Every record stays visible and fully editable; only adding a new one past the cap is blocked. Upgrading opens it again.
Your account and your data stay. You move to the free plan and keep every application, scholarship, and deadline you added, including any over the free cap. You just cannot add new ones until you are back under it.
Families with a student deciding what comes after high school, and the counselors, coaches and mentors who help them. The student runs the plan in their own login. A parent can see it.
4Thought101 is for families in the United States. You must be 18 or older to sign up. Students 13 to 17 use it through a login their parent or guardian sets up for them.
No. Four-year college, community college, trade school, apprenticeship, certificate programs and military service all get the same tools, and we keep adding to that list. Each of them has applications, deadlines, costs and next steps, and most planning tools serve only the four-year path.
Yes, and you both work from the same plan. The student runs the day to day. A parent links with a code, sees the student’s records, gets a copy of the same deadline emails, and can send a nudge when something needs attention. Nothing on the parent side edits the student’s work, so the plan stays theirs.
Yes. Scholarship deadlines, award amounts and submission status sit next to the applications they belong to, so you can see what a year actually costs instead of guessing.
The app is built for minors’ privacy. Each account sees only its own records, Ralph answers only from the student’s own data and not the open web, Help answers only from our help articles, and no student information is sold.
Now. 4Thought101 opened in beta on September 30, 2026, on the web.
4Thought101 is live and families are already using it. Beta means we are still refining the experience, fixing rough edges, and expanding the school and program data behind the product.
Your information is still yours. You can export your data or delete your account at any time.
We will remove the beta label when the product has earned it. We are looking at whether families can move through a full application cycle successfully and whether any significant issues remain.
